I am trying to figure out a way to do a tri-link in ArcGIS 10. Basically, I know that if you have your table and basemaps in the same geodatabase then you can create a dynamic feature class so that when you edit the information in the table the edits also reflect in the layers that were created from that table (i.e If you add more address then more dots show up in your layers). Well, i am trying to take it one step further and figure out a way to actually link the table in my geodatabase to the excel spreadsheet that it came from so that when i update the excel spreadsheet it automatically updates my table in my geodatabase and subsequently the layers then update to refelct the new data. Is this possible and if so how in the world do you go about doing this?
