When the output of GPI is Contours, the width of the contours changes as the map scale changes as though Display|"Scale symbols when a refence scale is set" had been checked. But, in fact, this check box does not appear on the Display tab in the GPI output Properties window, so it can not be turned off.
The result of this is that, if I have the contours sufficiently wide at Full Extent to easily read, they are enormously wide at lower scales and interfer with reading many other things on the map.
How do I turn off this scaling, that is, how do I get the width of the contour lines to stay constant on the screen?
