Please bear with me, as I have to describe this dataset fairly abstractly due to some privacy concerns.
I have two datasets--one with polygons and the other with points, both in a city. I am trying to match the polygons to the points that occur directly in front of them (i.e., at the range of addresses that the polygon covers, on the same side of the street). Ultimately, I would like to get a count field of the points in front of each polygon within the polygon shapefile. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.
