Coordinate Transformation and publish as WebService

Hello,
I am new to Geoprocessing tools so I just wanted to know if it's possible to create a Geoprocessor which Transforms Coordinates from one Coordinate-System into another. After that I want to publish this as a Service.
Does anyone know if this is a good way to create a coordinate transformation WebService?
